BlueSky Technology Partners was again honored at the Indiana Chamber of Commerce 8th Annual Best Places to Work in Indiana awards banquet on May 2. This year, a record 100 companies were designated a Best Place to Work; BlueSky ranked #3 in the newly created small business category, up from #13 in last year’s small to medium sized business category.
Companies competing as a best place to work completed a questionnaire where important information was captured about the company policies, practices and demographics. Company employees also completed the Employee Engagement & Satisfaction Survey. The results of the survey were analyzed and categorized according to eight core focus areas: Leadership and Planning, Corporate Culture and Communications, Role Satisfaction, Work Environment, Relationship with Supervisor, Training and Development, Pay and Benefits and Overall Engagement.
Workplaces were ranked based on this data and those companies who were determined to be a best place to work were recognized at the awards banquet and received a Best Places to Work Award of Excellence. This is the third consecutive year that BlueSky received the award. This year, in addition to the Award of Excellence, BlueSky was also recognized via a special section in theIndiana Chamber’s BizVoice magazine.
“BlueSky strives to create an environment where employees love coming to work each day and know that they are valued,” stated Todd Irwin, BlueSky CEO. “Our employees all help to create our culture here so being named as a top three small business is a reflection on everyone at BlueSky.”
Indiana Chamber President and CEO Kevin Brinegar said, “All companies making the list recognize how important it is for the success of a business to make employees feel valued. Each one should be very proud of the positive environment they have created.”
