On Monday, June 8, BlueSky Technology Partners volunteers once again took part in the annual Brooke’s Place “Hope FORE Tomorrow” golf outing at Plum Creek Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana. BlueSky has been the presenting sponsor for this event for the past five years, and employee involvement with the organization dates back to 2006.
Brooke’s Place “Hope FORE Tomorrow” Golf Outing 2015
Founded on the belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to grieve in a supportive and understanding environment, Brooke’s Place is a safe place for children, teens, and their caregivers to interact, hope, and heal after the death of a loved one. Since 1999, Brooke’s Place has provided support to over 8,000 young people and their families through bereavement programs, advocacy, community education, and outreach.
Supporting Brooke’s Place is an integral part of our BlueSky Cares community program and we are proud to support an organization that takes on this incredibly important work. Last year’s event included 82 golfers who gathered to raise $32,006 for Brooke’s Place, and funds raised by this year’s 2015 outing will allow Brooke’s Place to fund even more programs to support these children through their journeys. BlueSky volunteers had a great time at this year’s event, and as always, were honored to support such an important cause.
