NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -BlueSky Technology Partners Inc., a national eCommerce consulting firm headquartered in Noblesville, Ind., announced today that Gary Vincent has been promoted to Vice President of Operations. Vincent joined BlueSky in September of 2009 as a Sr. Project Manager, refining and improving BlueSky processes while managing company projects.
In his new role, Vincent will be directly responsible for overseeing the delivery team, monitoring and refining internal business practices, and preserving company culture. BlueSky is positioned to continue their tremendous growth and place high importance on retaining professional, happy employees.
“Gary Vincent has been instrumental in managing our Program Management Office and ultimately all of our operations over these years of consistent growth,” said Todd Irwin, CEO of BlueSky. “So as we grew to a point where we needed a more dedicated leadership role, to oversee a much larger operation, we knew we had the right person within our consultancy to promote to VP of Operations.”
Vincent collaborates with a group under his guidance containing BlueSky’s Technology Solutions Practice Leader, BA Practice Leader, Director of PMO, and Manager of Canadian Operations. He will work closely with new and existing BlueSky clients, as well as BlueSky employees as the firm continues to grow.
Vincent strongly believes in fostering the ideas of all employees under his leadership in order to gain insight for future growth and best practices. In using collaboration as an instrumental aspect of his methods, he hopes to revise systems to change alongside the growth, “ahead of the curve.”
“The folks on my team are tremendously talented and have been in this industry for 10 to 15 years. I’m here to provide direction, but more importantly, listen to their feedback, take their input, and then help execute accordingly,” Vincent said.
In accepting the position, Vincent intends to retain the “BlueSky family” culture, hire people that “love what they do”, and continue to have BlueSky be one of the “best places to work” for many years to come. Vincent attributes the firms’ continued growth to both the employees and customers.
“Our employees and our customers matter the most to us,” said Vincent.
Vincent is a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI) organization and holds a BS in Computer Technology from Purdue University.
