CARMEL, Ind -BlueSky Technology Partners volunteers came together to once again support Brooke’s Places’ “Hope FORE Tomorrow” golf outing. Just as it was last year, the sun was shinning at Plum Creek Golf Club for the all-day fundraising event. The event, complete with prizes, a silent auction, and of course, golf, had a tremendous turnout.
For the past 4 years, BlueSky has been the presenting sponsor for this event, but company volunteers have been actively involved with Brooke’s Place since BlueSky opened the doors in 2006. Together, with the entire volunteer, sponsor, and golfer contributions, Brooke’s Place received $30,000 dollars in donations, an increase from the amount raised in 2013.
BlueSky has created a work environment that inspires employees to team up and get involved in non-profits. Being a part of the positive impact that an event such as this creates, produces a sense of community wellness, something BlueSky cares about deeply.
Brooke’s Place is a nonprofit organization providing support and services to grieving children and families in the belief that hope for tomorrow begins today. Brooke’s Place is founded on the belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to grieve in a supportive and understanding environment. Since 1999, Brooke’s Place has provided grief peer support groups to over 8,000 young people and their families with hurting hearts. Brooke’s Place is just one of the numerous nonprofit community events with which BlueSky is proud to be associated.
