As part of our contribution to the communities we live in, BlueSky was given the opportunity to sponsor the Lake Country Clean Water Festival. BlueSky believes that the environment is very important and what better way to show our support than to sponsor an event that promotes the well-being of all of the waterways in the Pewaukee, Wisconsin.
Nestled in the heart of Waukesha County, Lake Country covers 580 square miles and contains some 77 fresh water lakes. This year, the Pewaukee Lake Water Ski Club hosted its 16th annual Beach Party, as well as the first ever Lake Country Clean Water Festival. The event was made to raise awareness of the growing problems facing waterways and to provide a means for everyone to enjoy the many activities available on the many lakes of Lake Country. The mission of this festival is to raise awareness for the increasing need for the preservation of Lake Country’s lakes and to raise money for funding efforts to clean the lakes so that everyone may continue to enjoy their fun and beauty that the lakes bring to their community. Other sponsors included MillerCoors, AO Smith, and many more.
The Clean Water Festival had exciting events to choose from including bands, food, drinks, learn to ski clinic, canoe rides, water ski show, yoga on the beach, clean water expo, clean water education, adaptive skiing, fishing clinic, and many more. BlueSky takes pride in our commitment to the communities we live in and we are very glad to have sponsored such a great event.
